Term One, 2004 saw the introduction of the Marymount Swimming Squad. Our love of swimming and passion for sport gave us the insight to develop a successful swimming program for students before and after school. The swimming squad is open to all students of Marymount Primary School.

We operate the squad, during the swimming season, on,Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons from 3.10 pm - 4.00 pm for Junior and Senior squads and on Monday from 3.00 pm - 4.00 pm for Learn to Swim. Friday afternoon 3.00 pm - 3.30 pm Learn to Swim and Stroke Correction. Depending on demand we may also operate on a Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday morning from 7.30 am - 8. 15 am. Our school pool is heated for the comfort of the swimmers.

The cost of each lesson is $5 and we also provide flippers, pull buoys and kickboards. Learn to Swim classes are limited to 6 students per coach. We look forward to continuing to provide for Marymount students the opportunity to improve both their swimming competence and fitness and ensuring that the students enjoy the experience.
